2.5 miles from the trailhead is Marten Creek. Cross this, and continue for just under a mile to the site of an old mine. At this point, the trail disappears into the brush. If you’re heading for Granite Pass, you’ll need to have a good map, compass, and route finding skills.
Hiked 2.5 miles out on the Snoqualmie Lake Trail (from the Taylor River Campground) to this beaut, yesterday! 😍 Such a great hike! This picture was taken from a bridge that crosses Marten Creek.💧 Along the way you never lose sight of the Taylor River for too long, and you get great peak-a-boo views of Garfield Peak! 🌲🏔
