Inspired by both Chef and Sommelier sensibilities,Wildwood Spirits Co. blends ‘farm to table’ and ‘vineyard to bottle’ to create distillates in a unique & distinctive ‘farm to distillery’ fashion. In the spirit of farmers from colonial times, where making distillates maximized local crops by preserving excess fruit and grain, Wildwood Spirits Co. sources nearly all of its ingredients from local farms. Ninety percent of the produce used for distilling Wildwood Spirits Co. spirits, from winter wheat to Braeburn apples to Douglas fir, is grown in Washington state.
From sourcing local ingredients and repurposing barrels to recycling water and using spent grain for animal feed, the crew at Beardslee Public House and Wildwood Spirits Co. are making a conscious effort to reduce their environmental impact on #EarthDay and every day.

This weekend we took a tour of Wildwood Distillery wildwoodspirits with Meag's brother Jeff and his wife Heather. Wildwood is a micro distillery with some very tasty spirits and a special roasted coffee blend. I love learning about the process of making spirits and the story behind the local businesses we support. We ate at Beardsley Public house that is above the distillery after the tour and tasting and that was also very good. I had a great filet mignon. Go check it out.
Simba the #pug is running the tasting room today. He is teaching about his favorite spirit #bourbon. Helping with bottling and I even caught him on the fork lift. Although in order to call your #whiskey a #straightbourbon it has to be older than him he is still dropping some knowledge, one bark at a time.
