Winter ❄️ blues If you feeling down around the same time every year usually starting late fall or early winter and depressive symptoms tend to go away around spring or summer, you may be experiencing seasonal affective disorder ( SAD). Here are some tips to support yourself during winter months:
❄️ Try to get moderate intensity exercise everyday even if it is for 15 to 20 min ❄️ Get a vitamin D testing and correct the deficiency if you have any. Do not get on very high dose vitamin D without testing. ❄️ Get on a good sleep and wake up cycle( same time everyday). ❄️ Use Happy lights for at least 20-30 min in the morning within the first hour of waking. ⛄️ Pro tip: The light box should produce exposure of 10,000 lux of light and very little UV as possible
