Once the first junior high school in Bothell, McMenamins Anderson School reinvents the idea of “too cool for school.” The campus-turned-hotel has multiple restaurants and bars within its 5.41-acre compound, including the Principal’s Office, The Woodshop, and The Tavern on the Square. Swim in the North Shore Lagoon, a tropical-themed, indoor pool, and treat yourself to a rum cocktail at the South Seas bar afterwards.
For a homier stay, book a room at the Residence Inn by Marriott, which is conveniently located near North Creek Trail and Woodinville Wine Country.
