If your four-legged friend is your go-to companion for weekend getaways, mountain hikes or walking and jogging trails—bring them to Bothell! Many of our area businesses, breweries, and parks are ready to welcome you and your furry friends!

1. Bothell Pop-Up Dog Park

Now through September 15, join us at Bothell’s first Pop-Up Dog Park! The Pop-Up was created in response to growing demand for accessible, safe, and clean spaces for pets and their owners, and has separate spaces for dogs under 25 pounds, and space for those over 25 pounds. Be sure to stop by with Fido at the Park at Bothell Landing between SR 522 and NE 180th street.

One of the most popular spots to bring your pup in the Cascade Mountains, Bridal Veil Falls, is the place to go for incredible views and a beautiful hike while climbing flights of steps that parallel the falls.

3. Burke-Gilman Trail

Walk, bike, jog or run your way in and around the Bothell area on the Burke-Gilman Trail. Locals love it here, and the pups do too.

4. Lime Kiln Trail

The Lime Kiln Trail is a secluded hiking trail near the town of Granite Falls and is open year-round. Home to old limekilns dating back to the 1800s, It’s a moderate hike, quite popular in the area, and dogs are allowed while on-leash.

Hit up WhatsSup Stand Up Paddleboard and Kayak for a rental, strap a life preserver on your pup and head out for an afternoon of kayaking the Sammamish River or Lake Washington.

With plenty of space to run free amongst the art sculptures, Olympic Sculpture Park in Seattle, is worth the drive for the space to hang with your pets and the views of Seattle and the Puget Sound.

One of the largest hotel properties in Bothell, McMenamin’s Anderson School allows guests to bring their pets for any length of stay. There’s a whole lot of Bothell history in this school building turned hotel, too.
