Singaporean chef Muhammad Fairoz and partner Katie Pohl are combining French baking techniques with Southeast Asian flavors to bring innovative desserts to Bothell. I don’t go looking for truffle. Truffle usually finds me. Tried the new-ish t55patisserie yesterday and it was just a box of pure joy 😍 My favorites were the Black Truffle Goat Cheese Focaccia (hit all my savory taste buds), the light and airy Black Forest Choux, Pineapple Szechuan Financier, and the Whisky Truffle. Didn’t get to try the Kouign-Amann as they ran out, so will just have to go back next time. 😉 🥐
